The hook is generous: $100 in credits on signup with the code WELCOME100, plus another $200 if you enter WELCOME200 in your profile. No credit card, no minimum spend. That's $300 to throw at a model before you commit a cent.

The listed models include GLM-5.2, Gemma 4 (in 26B and 31B sizes), Kimi K3, and gpt-oss-120b and 20b. An OpenAI-compatible API means you can point existing tools — Cursor, OpenCode, or any client that already speaks the OpenAI format — at the endpoint by swapping the base URL and key. In theory, that also makes it a drop-in option inside automation platforms like n8n, Make, or anything with a configurable OpenAI node.

That's the pitch. It's worth being clear about what is confirmed and what isn't.

The honest caveats

A few things deserve flagging before you get excited.

The promotion is time-limited — it was listed as running until 23 August, and the profile coupon in particular may disappear. If you're reading this after that date, assume the terms have changed.

More importantly, the backend has not been independently confirmed. The community has already raised the obvious question: are the endpoints actually serving the real weights of the models being advertised, or something else routed under those labels? Nobody outside the provider has verified this. Model names on a dashboard are a claim, not proof. A provider can label an endpoint "GLM-5.2" and serve whatever it likes; without independent testing you don't know what's actually answering your requests.

Where it fits for builders

The useful framing here is testing, not production. $300 in credits is a cheap way to benchmark a stack of models against your own tasks before you pay a provider you trust. If you're evaluating whether Kimi K3 or GLM-5.2 handles your summarisation, extraction, or coding-assist workload well enough, running your real prompts through them costs you nothing here — and because it's OpenAI-compatible, you can reuse your existing test harness with a URL change.

What you shouldn't do is wire an unverified, promo-funded endpoint into a customer-facing automation and forget about it. Free credits run out, promos end, and an endpoint whose provenance you can't confirm is not something to depend on for anything that matters. If the labels turn out to be inaccurate, your evaluation results are meaningless — so if you do test here, ideally cross-check the same prompts against a known-good source of the same model to see whether behaviour matches.

A sensible workflow: use the credits to shortlist which open models are worth pursuing, then run the winner on a provider or self-hosted setup you actually control. Many of these models are open-weight, so if Gemma 4 or gpt-oss proves out, you can run it yourself or through an established host rather than staying tied to a promotional endpoint.

Compared to the mainstream options, this isn't really competing with Claude or OpenAI on reliability or support — it's competing on price for the specific job of experimentation. If you already run automations through Zapier or n8n and want to trial cheaper open models without a procurement conversation, a no-card credit pool is a low-friction way to do it. Just keep production off it until you've verified what you're actually getting.

The short version: interesting for kicking the tyres, generous on credits, but the backend is unproven and the offer is on a clock. Verify before you trust it, and don't build anything load-bearing on top of it yet.
